Xinjiang Water Treatment Engineering Technology Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the “Water Treatment Center”) takes Xinjiang Deland Co., Ltd as its supporting organization.

Based on the water pollution control theory and integrated use of physical chemistry, biochemistry, environmental system engineering, automatic control and computer technologies, Xinjiang Water Treatment Engineering Technology Research Center researches and develops technologies for effective control of water pollution, wastewater reutilization, and advanced treatment of wastewater by studying characteristics of water in Xinjiang to solve related technical problems with demonstration of technologies, in view of the fact that water pollution in Xinjiang is becoming more serious, and shortage of water resources is increasing.

Guided by the theory of sustainable development, Water Treatment Center studies sustainable utilization of water resources in river valleys and regions, control of high contaminated wastewater, reuse of reclaimed water and staged utilization. Water Treatment Center also researches and develops new water purification technology, new materials and new devices. In the area of water treatment chemicals, Water Treatment Center has successively developed coagulant, corrosion and scale inhibitor, industrial bactericidal agent and bio-energizer that are suitable for treatment of wastewater according to the quality of water in Xinjiang and the characteristics of customer production process. In the area of water treatment technology, the Centre has developed independently the “integrated technology of petroleum and petrochemical water supplying, saving and wastewater recycling system” for treatment of petroleum and petrochemical wastewater, based on the energy saving and emission reduction technology as well as water resource comprehensive recycling use technology.
